Who we are
Our non-profit organization partners with at-risk youth and their families offering youth coaching which includes linkage to community service opportunities, resources, prevention services, and more.
Assistance Offered
We understand that meeting basic needs is crucial for our youth’s well-being. That’s why we offer linkage to a range of essential services, including nutritious meals, showers, laundry facilities, and access to personal hygiene products. By providing these necessities, we aim to alleviate the burdens associated with homelessness and allow young individuals to focus on their personal growth and development.
Educational/ Vocational Support
At The Lacuna Mission, we believe in the power of education and vocational training to break the cycle of homelessness. We offer linkage to academic support, GED preparation, and assistance with college applications, enabling youth to pursue their educational aspirations. Additionally, we connect to job readiness programs, internships, and connections to local employment opportunities, equipping young individuals with the skills and confidence to secure meaningful employment.
Coaching/Counseling Services
We take a collaborative and solution-focused approach to coaching. By working together, we can identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create a plan of action to help you achieve your goals.
Recreational/Enrichment Activities
We recognize the importance of holistic development and the need for positive outlets. Our outreach program offers a range of recreational and enrichment activities that promote self-expression, creativity, and personal growth. From art therapy and music programs to life skills workshops and recreational outings, we strive to cultivate a well-rounded experience for our youth.
Donations Accepted
The Lacuna Mission accepts gently used (or new) clothing/shoes of all sizes, monetary donations, and nonperishable food items. Donations can be coordinated for pick up via our contact form. Tax donation letter available upon request.
